Course Summary

ISO 9001 adalah salah satu produk dari lembaga non-profit International Standardization Organization yang berpusat di Jenewa. Organisasi ini telah menghasilkan ribuan standar yang banyak dipakai diseluruh dunia.

ISO 9001 adalah suatu standar internasional untuk Sistem Manajemen Mutu yang memberi penekanan pada sistematika sistem manajemen yang bermutu dimana hasil kerja dari seluruh jajaran manajemen diharapkan akan menghasilkan produk yang bermutu pula. Proses dasar pada Sistem Manajemen Mutu adalah Plan (P), Do(D), Check (C) dan Action (A) dimana dengan menerapkan tiga prinsip utama yang harus dipenuhi dalam penerapan sistem manajemen Mutu yaitu:

1. Identifikasi ketidaksesuaian dan resiko bisnis proses (risk based thinking)

2. Pemenuhan persyaratan stakeholder (pelanggan, supplier, regulator dan shareholder)

3. Perbaikan berkelanjutan (Continuous Improvement)

Tentunya ini harus didukung oleh komponen utama dalam Sistem Manajemen Mutu yaitu Komitmen dan Kepemimpinan (Commitment and Leadership).
